The University of Barcelona is one of the largest Universities in Spain with more than 60 000 students. As part of the BARC, the department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering has large expertise in chemical sensors with several groups working on chemical sensing systems and chemical signal processing. The department has a clear vocation for the training of early career researchers organizing and being involved in 5 Master and 2 PhD programs.
