Barnika Chakraborty is originally from Calcutta, India. She is pursuing a joint doctorate under the SENNET project at Institute of Material Science, Kiel University, Germany in the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Adelung and at KU Leuven, Belgium in the group of Prof. Michael Kraft. Her research topic revolves around sensor applications of 3D printers. Barnika is a chemist by background with a M.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry from Pune University, India and a B.Sc. (Honrs.) in Chemistry from Calcutta University, India. She loves to keep learning things and stay determined towards proper utilization of available time and oppurtunities. Barnika’s hobbies include sports and cultural activities too.
