The VII th International Fair of Innovation and Creative Education for Youth (ICE-USV) Suceava, ROMANIA

Rajat Nagpal, one of the PhD researchers in the MSCA DN-JD SENNET (Porous Networks for Gas Sensing) project, attended the VIIth edition of  international conference International Fair of Innovation and Creative Education for Youth (ICE-USV) held in Romania on 07-09 July 2023, winning the silver medal. In his oral presentation, Rajat introduced the topic 3D Printed ZnO coated with ZIF-8 for H2 sensing and UV detection with his excellent experimental findings of UV detection and H2 sensing. In his work, he demonstrated dual functionality of Metal Organic Framework based Metal Oxide semiconductor’s performance for excellent selectivity of H2 gas among other interfering analytes and its UV performance. This type of study can contribute to distinct sectorial solutions like renewable energy, space exploration, etc.
