SENNET third Network-Wide Training Event in Montpellier, France
The SENNET consortium held its third Network-Wide Training Event in Montpellier, France, from 7 to 10 April 2024, bringing together researchers and project partners for a week of scientific exchange, training and collaboration activities. Hosted by ICGM CNRS Montpellier and the Université de Montpellier, the event combined expert lectures, research presentations and technical discussions within the framework of the Horizon Europe programme.

The programme included guest talks by Prof. Stefan Kaskel from Dresden University and Prof. B. Civalleri from the University of Torino, alongside a specialised lecture on MOF-based sensors delivered by As. Prof. Sabine Devautour-Vinot. Recruited researchers presented updates on their research progress, while consortium members participated in technical work package discussions and a Supervisory Board meeting focused on advancing SENNET’s scientific objectives.

The event also offered opportunities for networking and cultural exchange, including a guided tour of Montpellier’s historic centre, laboratory visits and participation in the MOFSIM Conference. The training week concluded with discussions on future collaboration and project activities, further strengthening cooperation across the SENNET doctoral network.
