SENNET second training event in Caen, France

The SENNET consortium gathered in Caen, France, from 2 to 6 October 2023 for its second Network-Wide Training Event, hosted by ENSICAEN and UNICAEN. The five-day programme brought together researchers, supervisors and project partners for a combination of scientific training, technical workshops and project coordination activities.

The agenda featured expert guest talks on air gap transistors and zeolite synthesis, hands-on training sessions in microfabrication technologies and IR laboratory techniques, presentations from PhD researchers, and visits to Mont Saint-Michel and Murata Company. The event also included meetings with the REA Project Officer, consortium discussions on research progress, and technical work package sessions aimed at strengthening collaboration across the SENNET network.

The training week concluded with Supervisory Board discussions and planning for upcoming project activities, reinforcing SENNET’s commitment to interdisciplinary research and researcher development within the Horizon Europe programme.
