MOLSIM 2024 – CECAN Flagship school on molecular simulation methods
Sabrina Grigoletto participated in the MOLSIM 2024 in Amsterdam (8-19 January 2024) – a two-week Flagship school on molecular simulation methods, dedicated to both fundamental and advanced molecular simulation methods. The program is designed for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers interested in gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply these methods in physics, chemistry, and biology research.
The curriculum combines lectures with hands-on exercises in a balanced and integrated format. It begins with an overview of the core theoretical concepts underlying molecular simulation and continues with an in-depth exploration of both established and advanced simulation techniques. A particular emphasis of the 2024 edition is the application of quantum computing methods in molecular simulation. Throughout the program, participants will engage with illustrative examples drawn from current research.
